Cardedu 2022 Vermentino di Sardegna ‘Nuo’

These vineyards are located in the sparsely and rugged south east corner of the island, where the granite mother rock has been crumbled by erosion.  The property has been in the family since the early 10th century.  Grape cultivation is now in its 4th generation.  They have never used synthetic chemicals and practices minimal intervention. This 100% Vermentino undergoes an 8 hour skin maceration prior to a cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks followed by elevage in large cement tanks.
