This is a beautiful, classic Burgundy. Vinified in a combination of concrete tanks and stainless steel. It's elegant and earthy old fashioned wine. We only have a few cases (and we took one of them home).

Chauvenet-Chopin Description

Domaine Chauvenet-Chopin is known for their classic, delicate style of red burgundies. Having merged the domaines of their two families slowly since 1985, Hubert and Evelyn Chauvenet work 14.6 hectares of some of the most celebrated vineyards of the Côtes de Nuits, based out of Nuits-Saint-Georges. They aggressively control yields using de-budding in the spring, and green harvesting later in the season to lend rigor to the vines and more concentration to the grapes.
