Usini, a protected City of Wine and sanctuary of viticulture for over 5,000 years, guards the heritage of Sardinian monovarietals, especially Cagnulari. Not celebrated on the world map of wine, Usini’s vineyards hold secrets as old as civilization itself. 

Only 6,000 bottles of Serra Juales Cagnulari 2021 exist, each drop hand-pressed by Francesco, who treats every detail with reverence. In this single vineyard, he nurtures the vines, shapes the wine, and oversees its aging—a year in steel, followed by a year in glass—monitoring its evolution as carefully as a poet studies verse. 

This Cagnulari stands alone, dark and wild. On the nose, it carries the richness of blackberries, layered with hot spice and earthy tones that speak of Sardinia’s complex soil. Each sip is savory and grounding, hinting at the ancient connection between humanity and earth.
